Popular open-source audio editing software, Audacity, has received a major update which brings a number of new features and customizable themes. The update, dubbed Audacity 2.2.0, adds four user interface themes and customizability for advanced users, MIDI file support, better organization menus, and help link buttons that lead to relevant manual pages.
The update also brings with it a number of improvements, including 198 bug fixes, improved recovery from full file system errors, complete support for macOS 10.12, new manual images, more hover texts, and more cross-references for ease of use.
