Even though Samsung's Galaxy S8 received numerous accolades for its excellent design, the fingerprint scanner's awkward placement drew a lot of flak, but Samsung plans to change it with the upcoming Galaxy S9 which might feature a redesigned rear panel.
As per a report from Gizchina, insider sources with insight into Samsung's strategy have disclosed that the Korean company plans to change the fingerprint scanner's position to a more ergonomically-suitable spot.
Moreover, the rear panel may also see some changes in the placement of the LED flash and the heart-rate sensor, while the upcoming flagship's front face would remain more or less the same as its predecessor.
