Pixel 2 "Clicking Noise" Caused Due To NFC, Fix Is Coming

According to a recent report from Android Authority, the issue regarding the clicking and high-pitched sounds coming from the earpiece of the Pixel 2 smartphones is currently one of the most discussed topics on Google's Product Forums right now, but the company is actively working on a fix which will be released sometime soon.
As per an update from Community Manager Orrin, the company is currently validating a software update which will be made available to all Pixel 2 users "in the coming weeks." The issue is somehow related to the NFC service on the devices and Orrin suggests that turning off NFC might temporarily solve the problem.
