Google Shipped Some Pixel 2 XL Units Without An OS

Google's new Pixel devices have been hit by a host of problems since release, ranging from clicking noise to screen burn-in issues. And now, surprisingly, a few Pixel 2 XL customers have reported that their new phones have been delivered without an operating system.
Some Reddit users, when they turned on their Pixel 2 XL devices, were greeted with a black screen and text that reads, “Can’t find valid operating system. The device will not start.” As of now, it is hard to predict how widespread this issue is; however, it is certainly the last thing that Google needs right now as they try to fix the issues plaguing their new flagships.
