Entry Level Nokia 2 Gets Certified By Bluetooth Special Interest Group


Nokia's entry-level Android phone, Nokia 2, has been rumoured for quite a while. The device is now closer to the announcement as it has been awarded certification by Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). The listing reveals the Nokia 2 might arrive in 4 different variants or region-specific models which are codenamed TA-1007, TA-1011, TA-1023, and TA-1029.
The device was recently spotted on a US retailer's website priced at $99. It also appeared on FCC's website last month. The smartphone is expected to run a lighter version of Android 7.1.1, which might be updated to 8.0 later.
