Xiaomi Launched Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite In India Starting At Rs.6999

Xiaomi has introduced a new series of selfie-centric smartphones with two new devices, Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite.

Redmi Y1: The device is packed with features like Xiaomi's "Beautify" mode to improve selfies. It boasts an LED selfie flash which not only enhances images in low visibility but also improves images taken in bright light. The two variants are priced at ₹8,999 and ₹10,999.

Redmi Y1 Lite: This shares the same form factor and design as the Y1, but differs in terms of hardware. The Y1 Lite also misses out on an LED flash. The device is priced at ₹6,999.

Both the Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite are Amazon Exclusive devices, and will be updated to MIUI 9 starting from mid-November.
