HTC U11+ Launched At £699 With Android Oreo


The much-anticipated flagship, HTC U11+, has been announced. It features thinner bezels than the U11 that allows the company to accommodate a larger 6-inch display. U11+ comes with Android Oreo out-of-the-box and will be available in markets across Asia and Europe starting November 20 for a price of £699 (€799).
As teased earlier, the U11+ sports a translucent black ceramic back and the wireless charging coil is visible under it. It comes with Bluetooth 5.0, Sony's LDAC, and Qualcomm’s AptX HD for a remarkable audio experience and HTC has also promised HDR10 video support via a firmware upgrade.
The U11+ features HTC's Edge Sense which can be re-mapped according to user preferences for light an strong squeezes separately. Further, the device is IP68-compliant, offering resistance to water and dust.
