Fix for Pixel 2 display's colour reproduction issue

Google's Pixel 2 smartphones have an issue with their display which causes it to render colors that look muted due to the inbuilt color reproduction settings. However, the folks over at ShortFuse have developed an app called Oreo Colorizer 1.0 that promises to fix the aforesaid issue and bring the Pixel 2's display to life.

The app employs a system-overlay mechanism which renders more vivid colors on top of the ones generated natively by the Pixel 2 to provide an immersive viewing experience. The Oreo Colorizer 1.0 app has two modes viz. Standard mode (for fixing color issue only on certain parts of the screen) and Performance mode (for continuously updating all colors produced on the screen) for different usage scenarios.
